Harp, Heart Strings

My heart plays a harp
stringing together universes
where fire melts glass door's
through the window of my soul
they open
sagaciously piercing
shattering shards of hope
catch glimmering glimpses
of blue-green eyes
through-see-through-glass
desire acquires the key
unlocking a sea of dreams
where love conquers all
mirrors never disguise
you see me after
this time in space

This is beautiful, Meagan.

Poignant, evocative, shudderingly precise. Can you imagine it set to music? Some kind of background riffin', high guiter wails and plucks of harps, violins and big bass drums? It'd be something special, all right.

You're a wordsmith. I love the ways you join words to create a totally different perspective. Then again, I reckon that's the definition of poetry, eh?

=o)

These lines kicks ass: "through-see-through-glass/ desire acquires the key/ unlocking a sea of dreams"

Nooooooice.

It makes me want to envelop you, devour you. In a good way, of course, beautiful Meegie. =)

As if there's a bad way to be devoured, Adam!

Beautiful poem, Meagan.

Interesting picture on top, Meeg. =o) I'm not *quite* sure what I'm looking at, but it seems pretty sensual to me.

Miss Meeg, that was outstanding.

(I had to pause Darling Nikki so I could enjoy your words, heehee)
